Well I have been trying for some time now, (with limited success) But what I have invited here is the first edition Populele, a Concert scale Ukulele that comes with a plastic fretboard with lights under it that show where you put your fingers when you play along with lessons that are transmitted to it via bluetooth from an app on your smartphone. I don't know how well all that works but I think the Ukulele itself looks quite distinctive with its 2 tone body and long thin sound holes.

The other invitee is the Bohemian Guitars oil can Ukulele. The design comes from some home made instruments that were made in South Africa in the '60s but this range is purpose built from cans that have never held anything, never mind motor oil; or cooking oil, or molasses or any of the other contents claims Bohemian guitars make. Still they do look the part and this will be a welcome addition to Ukulele Corner just like Eleukes never seen tobacco cigar box Tenor

They're here!

And the Bohemian is a Tenor scale not a Soprano as all the publicity bumph said. Oddly it is also pretty silent when played acoustically too? I was expecting a ghostly tinny sound, rather like the Fatboy Special but instead, nothing. The cap does unscrew though, if you were wondering

the Populele is very nice too, I just need to download the app and instructions for it to all light up and tell me how to play
